You are what you eat. Incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your diet is key to feeling better. Most people don’t eat enough vegetables. Your fruits and veggies should take up majority of your plate for every meal. When you feel better, you look better!
You should drink lots of water anyway, but it’s great for your digestive health, gives you energy, and keeps you hydrated! Drinking water is so important. Dehydration can cause mental fogginess. Water is the best thing for you to drink. I love to add fruits to add flavor.
You should be exercising for at least 30 minutes everyday! Endorphins get released during physical activity that will make you feel better. Not to mention, your body will appreciate it. My favorite forms of exercise are running, swimming, and pilates for toning and strength.
I started dressing up for myself everyday. Spending a little extra time putting myself together has boosted my confidence as I carry out daily activities. Yes, it’s okay to put on makeup to go to the grocery store. Yes, it’s okay to look nice for the gym. Do what makes you feel comfortable.
Instead of pointing out your flaws, start pointing out your great qualities. Say something nice about yourself everyday. Words are powerful. If you put positive energy into the universe, it will come back to you.
